Eco Kitchens Online

Tim and Caroline Rigby approached Brightpearl with a bit of a dilemma. A non-functioning website meant their new eco-friendly kitchens business wasn't launching the way they had hoped, and having already spent a small fortune they were somewhat stuck in a rut. With poor search engine rankings on top, sales weren't exactly pouring in. Quickly realising that Brightpearl was the system of choice for complete back-office management, the ability to 'plug in' their website meant automation of dreamy proportions.
Stepping it up further, however, EKO took the chance to get their site professionally redesigned by Brightpearl's own in-house code whizzes. Having fully evaluated the existing offering, we worked closely with them to produce a much cleaner, elegant design that marked a fine balance between both effective selling and a sensitivity - a boost, even - to the core brand. Now their ecommerce system works side-by-side with their stock, contact, order and accounts management, and rather tastefully at that. Bespoke graphics work, dynamic products and content, newsletter management and even a helpdesk for their customers means the brand spanking new EcoKitchensOnline.com is as streamlined as... a really streamlined thing. Ahem.

So what goes into a bespoke Brightpearl site? Well, public-facing client account management allows an EKO customer to manage their existing orders, helpdesk tickets, billing information and more. Fully dynamic menu systems and categories fill the site with up-to-date, easy-to-maintain category and product info, displaying featured items, special offer prices, bundle discounts, and even calculating tax and shipping on the fly. Intuitive layouts make it easy for the visitor to find exactly what they're looking for, and - in EKO's case - even see the green credentials of any given product. Converting leads to sales, the system then completely handles payment and the order process, making life in the office pretty sweet. All fully and easily manageable through a standard browser, of course.

All products, categories and images were copied across automatically from EKO's previous system (Magento), leaving Tim just to clean up. No horrible hours spent with data entry all over again!

Eco Kitchens also decided to bring their accounting into Brightpearl, from Sage. This was an easy 1-2-3 operation, using the Sage import wizard, so that now sales progress all the way through to VAT return within the same system.

Fast turnaround was a key for this build, and the whole process was completed in less than 10 days, including all data migration.

Ecommerce sites running on Brightpearl are built to be fully dynamic, using templates to afford you complete control over how the site looks and acts. You don't need to keep coming back to us or your designers to tweak some copy, add a product category or change a few prices. It's all yours.
